Fallen
Fallen is told from hunter/former assassin Sera Fallon's point of view, and is the third story in my Revenant Hunter series with a basic plot and some written scenes at the moment. However, it may not necessarily be the third book, chronologically, when I finish plotting out the rest of them.Currently there are two versions swimming around in my head. The one that has been posted here for so long is the first version, but I've since discussed the alternate with a few people, and most believe it is better. I might put a poll in, just to see which version anyone who bothers to take the poll prefers, but that will be later. For now, you can read about both versions.
Version One
Somebody is after their fearless leader, and the Revuns don't know what to do about it. There have been four assassination attempts in two weeks, and all of them were barely averted. The contractor seems to have intimate and personal information regarding the Revuns' schedules, habits, and weaknesses in their defense systems, all things that even the rebellion Master Icaroth couldn't possibly know. The Revuns are paranoid and afraid of a traitor amongst them, and the newest addition to their household, the vampire Zane, is far from above suspicion.
The house is divided as Kendra, and even their leader herself, stand by Zane's side, while three of the other Revuns call him a traitor. Only Sera is torn, unconvinced of Zane's guilt, but equally unsure of his innocence. To find the truth, she is forced to step back into the world she once lived in, where murder is a day job, and lives are little more than currency. She must re-connect with the contacts she once held as an assassin, and face the past she so desperately sought to put behind her, to re-unify her beloved family, and uncover the traitor in their midst.

Version Two
Sara Fallon has lead a hard life. She has always been an orphan, but that does not mean that she has not had family. There is, of course, her housemates, whom she loves just as much as she could love any family blood related to her. And before that, there was the orphanage. Even though its twisted leader raised her to be a killer for hire, he considered himself her family, even if she never felt the same.
But before that, there was the vampire. A man who became her protecter when she was only six, who saved her from a human monster and took care of her for two years, until he abruptly left her on her own, at the orphanage where she became a murderer. She never understood why he left her so suddenly, to be raised by a monster of the immortal variety. But now she may have a chance to get her answers. Because this vampire has suddenly become a player in the battle between her housemates and the powerful Master Icaroth. He resides on the side of Icaroth, and represents a significant threat against them in the looming war.
Now Sera has only two weeks to re-unite with a man who was once her entire world. She must convince him to join her side, or allow him to suffer the consequences...
